I'm in a sticky situation. In 2 months I'll fly the last legs of my DONEx ticket: MEL-DOH-JNB.
Because South African Embassy (both in Bangkok and Canberra) refused to accept my visa application (they say I have to apply in my home country), I'm forced to connect to my onward ticket JNB-MAD on IB the same day.
I cannot enter SA without a visa, so I cannot collect my bags. Do you think this qualify as extreme circumstances where they will check through my luggage?
