I thought they could just cancel the infant ticket on dad's ticket and create a new one attached to mom's ticket. Or would this cause a reprice according to the current fares (i.e. 10% of the current fare)?

Not familiar with eurowings but I thought change/cancel fees for infant tickets are usually waived.
