I originally booked a room for 2 adults on points for 5 nights. I upgraded our room to a Family room with 4 Beds via instant awards with the intention of having our friends stay with us now, as the SPG website shows that 4 adults are allowed in the Family room with 4 beds. Total room occupancy limits and whether or not more than two adults should be charged are kind of two different things. Most properties charge extra for more than two adults, even though the room may allow 3 - 4 adults to stay in the room.
