I had that too yesterday - tried again in case it was a glitch and "seat not available" was award ticket (coach ) but can't see that should make any difference - row was empty so selected opposite end no problem.

Just logged on now to see if I could move back to my original choice and showing seat taken - so perhaps two people trying to book at the same time ?
