We have an early morning AKL-SYD coming up, and I reserved this hotel online. Now, on the QF forum there was talk of how horrible AKL airport hotels can be, and how funky they smell...

Has anyone from this forum been at this hotel? I'm not looking for luxury, just a clean, quiet room where we can go to sleep early (we'll be coming in from HNL in the morning), and wake up early. Did I choose the wrong place?
