I think it's great. There should be one on where to stay in Venice. Where to stay in Rome is fairly easy. The only way to ruin a stay would be to stay near the train station, or for a newbie to stay on the outskirts. Just find a place that suits you and that is within your budget, that is close to the Pantheon. The historical area of Florence is compact. There are no bad areas. Just stay close to Ponte Vecchio, because from there you can get anywhere, then it comes down to budget and property preference. In Venice, staying near Piazza San Marco, or Ponte Rialto, or anywhere between the two, and also staying near the train station, will ruin your trip. You will not want to ever go back to Venice, and will tell people it was horrible, and "you can see Venice in a day."
