Interesting thread. I must say that this is a pretty impressive list. I grew up with my parents insisting that no chain hotel restaurant was ever worth anything and that attitude has somehow stayed with me in that I look to hotels for sleeping but usually try to dine out. I remember when we were in Rome a few years ago and stayed at the Hilton (Waldorff-Astoria) Cavalieri which has Rome's only Michellin 3 star restaurant. We never even considered dining there.
Nice to see that St. Regis and Ritz Carlton especially, but other brands, too, within Marriwood, have made great strides over the years. I guess I need an attitude adjustment.
