Does it have something to do with where the aircraft had its interior "finished"? I know there was a theory that UA's 737 fleet has a mixture of "jale" vs "hale" in Spanish translations of exit-door handle instructions depending on where specifically the work was done ( http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...-say-hale.html ).
