I was in the same situation but ex-BOS. I called Finnair Customer line in NY and asked to be rerouted via LRH on BA. Surely you don't want to be rerouted via DOH.
p.s. And the worst thing that happened to me was, after I rerouted via LHR, my flight from HEL-HKG departed 8 hours late.
