I've stayed only at the Halekulani which I found elegant in a beachy way. Public areas are lovely. Our suite was spectacular. Was not enchanted by the food and was put off by the endless stream of folk parading past the hotel on the public walkway in front of the ocean. There is no beach at this hotel. There is a crowded beach next to the hotel accessible through a keyed gate. There are no amenities there. Ocean water often too cold for most.
