Yeah, at some point they changed the rules so that Alaska award redemptions don't qualify. I went to the chauffeur drive desk at DXB to try my luck and the woman picked up the phone to call somebody and as soon as I heard her say "Alaska" I knew I was done for. I wasn't a complete loss as she offered me a couple bottles of water from the fridge they have there
