Frankly they were just being honest about their opinion! I think the key with humour is judgment.

When collecting my plate in F I've had a crew member say "I don't know how you ate that, it looked disgusting......do you normally like it nice and moist?"

One of the thing I like about BA is that people are allowed to have their own personality.
