Hello!

I am a HHonors newbie and want to figure out which credit card I should get to pay for our wedding at a Hilton property next year (tried to negotiate more than 1pt/dollar, but no dice).

I really like the Reserve card for the two free nights (hoping to use them on the honeymoon!), but I can't seem to get a straight answer from Hilton or our venue about whether the 10x bonus would apply to paying our balance, since it applies to "stays". If it doesn't, I would likely consider one of the other cards. Also, I assume the bonus does not fall under the 100k event point cap.

Does anyone here have experience with such a scenario? Thanks!
