Just for Hadrian35 sake, want to point out that the DoubleTree Kuala Lumpur is directly connected to said mall via a sheltered walkway complete with escalators. KLCC is also about 10 minutes walk or 1 LRT stop away from the DT.

I haven't done laundry at Hilton KL before, but a google of "Nu Sentral laundry" turns up a couple of launderettes nearby, including 1 which offers a pick up service.

Personally wouldn't bother with the hassle of walking my laundry from Hilton KL to KL Sentral, waiting/crowding for the ~15 minute LRT ride to Ampang and making my way back to Hilton just for laundry !
