On the second guest stays free piece - how do I get that to actually apply? I'm logged in to the site and the app (and my silver status shows) but whenever whenever I select 2 adults at German, Belgian and Italian Hilton properties the price jumps by €10 or so.

My workaround solution has been to just select 1 adult - but I got some (polite) pushback on that approach from the front desk Hilton Milan a few weeks ago.

Any ideas?

FWIW - I got a really nice room upgrade and free snack/alcohol miniature selection for being a lowly Silver at the Hilton Nuremberg a few weeks ago. They had it really down pat.
