IME, any "famous" restaurant is never that great.

Had some good quality and cheap at Royal Palace underneath the Ibis in Sheung Wan (and their dim sum and steamed fish is also comparable to much more expensive places), but they illegally allow regulars to smoke inside

The Grand Hall in Wan Chai is also ok but again a full restaurant so not somewhere to get a takeaway or a single dish.
