Yep de-icer. Some airports have a seperate pad for deicing, but it's often done at the gate if space is tight and it would be a very long taxi to find a suitable free area. And no problem deicing with airbridge still attached, especially if temperature isn't too low and you'll have enough time before surfaces become contaminated again. If so deicing while still boarding reduces the time taken after being ready to push back before departing.
