Correct. When more than one SCCM grade is working onboard a single supervisory grade aircraft, then when they are allocated to the flight, they will be told that they are working down as main crew and the person rostered to work as the SCCM
should work the full trip as the SCCM.
And, vice versa, it has happened on Long Haul that we have ended up (and I did a SIN/SYD like this!) where I was called from standby to work up as Purser, and we had 1 Purser working down as main crew. So, all manor of odd crewing anomalies can occur at times.
