I understand what you're saying and I agree...for instance, the Boy Scouts being just boys, the Girl Scouts being just girls etc.

But in this case, at a gay resort, why can't gay couples "mingle and enjoy themselves" if there are a few straight people around? I'm sure the straight people in question wouldn't care since they were traveling with a gay couple booked there and likely knew it was a gay resort. These aren't your average rednecks...

Either way, I don't see this as the same thing as BOY Scouts or GIRL Scouts. If this was an all-male resort or an all-female resort, again, I wouldn't have an issue with it. But, to say someone can't participate because of who they want to sleep with is...well...silly?!
