Cebu Pacific Review & Help

First time poster, long time lurker here.

Just came back from the Philippines yesterday and had a terrible experience with Cebu Pacific and was wondering if there was anything I could of done different or anyone I can report/complain to. (I'm extremely persistent and I'm willing to annoy the crap of out of them everyday for the rest of my life)

I booked a RT flight in July from Manila to Caticlan from 11/23-11/27. My original flight schedule was

11/23 - MNL -> CATICLAN (12:15PM -> 1:25PM)
11/27 - CATICLAN -> MNL (2:45PM -> 3:55PM)

About a week before I leave, I received an email that their schedule has changed.

1 hour later on the phone, I change my itinerary to this:

11/23 - MNL -> CATICLAN (12:30PM -> 1:45PM)
11/27 - CATICLAN -> MNL (10:35AM -> 11:45AM)

No big deal but then while I'm in Palawan I get another email saying my flight has changed 4 days before my flight. I initially planned to go back to Manila in the morning from Palawan and leave enough time to transfer to my Caticlan flight. (Roughly 3+ hours) I chose CEBU because they would be in the same terminal (T4) thus making my transfer easier.

11/23 - MNL -> CATICLAN (10:55AM -> 11:55AM)
11/27 - CATICLAN -> MNL (10:35AM -> 11:45AM)

I picked the earliest Palawan flight which would arrive at 9:15am, but they ended up changing the terminal on the flight they rebooked me on thus leaving me no time to make my flight.

After an hour talking to the rep, they tell me there is no later flight and they have canceled the later flights (they are 6 a day) because they could not sell enough seats pretty much. I have no choice but to ask for a refund and rebook with another airline at 3x the cost.

So sure did I gamble booking the flight the same as I arrive? Yes, I can live with that but it's not over. It took me an hour to get my first flight refund, I figured I could leave my return flight intact even though my gut told me to cancel it all together.

I'm in Caticlan on my last night enjoying the last bits of my vacation. I even tried to web check-in the day of to save some time but I get an error trying to check-in and it says to contact them. I figured I could fix this at the airport since I was still confirmed at the time of web check-in (roughly 3pm). I get an email at 7pm but did not have internet til 9pm saying my flight has been canceled. This time, it did not rebook me automatically on another flight.

This left me roughly 10 hours to call and rebook another flight as I needed to get back to Manila on that date since I had an international flight the morning after.

After waiting 30 minutes on the phone, I finally got through and they tell me there is a 10:55am flight I could take. I say great but why didn't they just rebook me on that flight to begin like the other (2) schedule changes?

The airline rep tells me there is an error and because I checked-in the canceled flight, they cannot move me without a higher supervisor. This is at 10PM the night before my flight and they told me to call back 3-5 hours later to get this fixed. How stressful does this situation sound on the last night of your trip to have to wake up at 3AM to find a flight back to Manila that I originally booked in July.

I tweeted their social media to get help but nothing. Not only that, even if I called back at 3am, there was NO guarantee that flight would be open and they could not reserve the seats for me at all because I was 'checked-into' a CANCELED flight. How does this even make sense?

I wait til 1am and ask my concierge to contact them to update me as I am talking to their twitter employee. The twitter employee informs me there are no more seats on that flight or that day and that there is nothing he or she could do.

I end up having to buy another last minute flight with another airline at 4x the cost of my original RT ticket for a one way. The next morning, the concierge informed me that they tried all night to contact their customer service and not one person answered the phone.

Was there anything else I could of done? Is there an agency that watches over these crooks in the Phillipines I can forward my inquiry towards?

Original Flight Cost - $107.34 per person
New Flight Cost - $450.00 per person

I find this outrageous and complete shock at how unprofessional this airline is. I've never experienced anything like this before. Any ideas?
