Worth an update to this thread.

I narrowly missed catching an earlier flight so had several hours to kill at MCT.

If you have access to both lounges, Plaza Premium is definitely the way to go. Bathrooms are better, WiFi is faster, food is more tastier (and more substantive), bar service is superior, and there are fewer people in a bigger space. It's no competition.

All of that said, both lounges are merely adequate as far as Priority Pass options go.

I wouldn't get to MCT early to spend time in the lounge.
