No spend required, but no extra points given (I am registered for a promo giving me 2x on groceries, restaurants, toy store purchases (and perhaps a few more), but it's not a compelling offer for me as I have other cards giving higher payout for these categories (besides toys which I don't buy anyway). Spend about $7.5K per year (usually timed around promos they extend to me, which have been lucrative at times)
