I believe so in this fact. With regards to the egg, I believe they are already cooked beforehand and just being reheated on a skillet or pan in the galley. Eggs don't give off that much smoke and smell when cooked, either.
I have no idea what your comment or quote from Good Housekeeping magazine has to do with this thread..
Some airlines cook eggs to order in first class like CX.
