They wrote me back this am saying the total refund is $564 and there is nothing more they can do. I responded with a polite "I'm disappointed but appreciate your consideration".

I can't imagine it's worth elevating at this time. I'd love to email Chris Elliott for help but I don't think they'd help me here.

End of the day $566 plus 30000 miles isn't bad, but may make me hesitant to fly delta one again vs saving the money for economy comfort on my next long haul flight.
