The food service in the lounges will offer complete sit down meals, however the tray service was decided (per him) based on the surveys of several thousand elite flyers who rather have more time to sleep on flights. I hope that isn't true, cause that would be a step backwards for United.
"Polaris" is going to be a step backwards for any future UA traveler on new Polaris configured AC, if the bulk of their flying on UA was in GF. DL tried convincing its intl FC pax that their new "Business Elite" was going to be just as good...and it didn't work for them either.
