Actually, the OP is entirely correct with respect to QF.

The QF website makes no mention of the additional allowance entitled to a OneWorld Sapphire member: the QF web page kindly offered by Mwenenzi, states:

"...Some Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club members are entitled to an additional non ticketed checked baggage allowance..."

It should also make clear statement that the more generous allowances may apply for Sapphire and Emerald members and ideally link to the relevant OneWorld page.

The prominent help function on the QF website conveniently cited by BSBtraveller produces no useful cross references when you search for "baggage allowance OneWorld sapphire".

IMHO a few of you owe the OP an apology for your ill-founded comments: yet again a newcomer is trashed on FT (and yet again one or two of the same players are responsible for such)!
