Second, I am seeing some pretty surprising (error?) deals. For example a tier 4 hotel is 50,000 points per night, so a 6 night stay would be 300,000 points. Often, hotels will include cash co-pays for upgrades, club level, etc. So, a base room would be 300k points; an upgraded view might be 300k + $100 per night; a suite would be 300k + $500 per night, whatever.
1. I have done this but as PP I might have a bit more leeway than others. Not sure
2. That is the going rate for hotel nights at the Ritz.
