Although this is no excuse, BA seems only to be reflecting the general state of the country at the moment. Compared to a lot of countries I have been to, the streets are filthy with litter everywhere, trains and buses are dirty and, dare I say it, a significant number of the population seem to be in rather unkempt condition as well. It is about time Britain smartened up its act if it wants to be a leader in global trade.
