It's my company's corp. account. UA provides number of GS status to our company based on total spend, the Travel department decides who to give to...as usual, they all went to top executives...
End of story.
That's really crappy, it happens a lot more now. Top brass gets status, regardless of how much OR seldom they travel, while the road warriors that DO travel get squat. In a past life, I saw this with an exec that flew 5-7 times a year all domestic and yet was GS...while there were other consultants that flew almost every week that had every right to top tier status that weren't provided any.
