I got into Australia in time for Samsung Pay's 4x bonus on their rewards. Contactless is pretty well accepted in Melbourne so far, I have yet to encounter a terminal without the contactless logo on the screen.

I even got the $15 visa card for using Chase on Samsung Pay 3 times.
