We can confirm that if the primary cardholder were to cancel their card, all flight benefits (including the first checked bag free) are removed from the former cardholder's profile. Additionally, unused vouchers will also automatically be cancelled on the date your WestJet RBC World Elite MasterCard account is closed. WestJet Dollars, on the other hand - will retain their original expiry of a five year validity.

The Welcome Bonus is only a one-time offer, and cannot be issued to the same primary cardholder twice. If you have any other concerns, you can check out https://www.westjet.com/en-ca/reward...stercard/index or give us a call at 1-888-937-8538.
