I am booking my college age son from the US (MSY) to Paris in early January for a study abroad program. Obviously a bit late in the game to book award travel but this is a last minute thing. Departure must be on Jan 3 for arrival the next day. Decent flights through PHL,ORD, DFW and MIA. He'll be traveling alone so I would like to minimize the chances of a flight delay/cancellation. I am guessing that the lowest likelihood for delays that time of year is MIA? What do you all think?
