Flight was fine but the pre clearance thing in Shannon is in danger of being spoilt by the newly introduced security check pre the US border. The Security check setup was shambolic and there was no priority for anyone, Shannon should be ashamed of what they have put n place.
I was also chatting to a fellow passenger who seem pretty certain that BA1/2 will be joining BA3/4 by being enhanced soon. It will be shame if BA really does kill off the Babybus as its a unique product.
What 'newly introduced security check'?
There has always been an x-ray of baggage etc check before you get to see the US CBP officer.
Not sure what the shambles is as in my trips it has been well organised with only people on soon to depart flights allowed through and staff actively turning people away if their flight wasn't listed.
I rarely believe what another passenger says about a route being stopped. Same with 'galley FM' as it's not always reliable.
