My wife has the Citi Prestige card (I am probably still a couple of years away from the annual income requirement so can't apply for the card myself ). Understand that the 4th night free benefit only applies when the reservation is made in her name.

I am the one with the Hyatt status, however. Can one actually request for the eligible stay/night to be credited to the second person in the room? Is this allowed or YMMV depending on the property? And how would the diamond benefit work in such a situation when the reservation is not under my name but I am a registered guest sharing the room with my wife?
