I agree with your advice, just wanted to check if it was possible.
SK does have a baggage interline agreement with EI, but that doesn't mean I should try it in this case.
I agree that leaving it with airport workers for 24 hours can be a very bad idea since such bags tend to end up in a corner somewhere and get forgotten.
