Hi All
It's time for a carry on luggage upgrade as my old one is on its last legs. My biggest problem with old Tumi luggage is it was just a hair bigger than most carry on limits so if I was unlucky (several times) a gate agent would make me put my carry on in the metal luggage device for measuring and the wheels wouldn't fit.
I'm now after a luggage that will meet the following requirements:
- suitable for check in on all airlines - I travel Europe mostly, on LCCs often so needs to fit on the smallest luggage requirements (not sure who has the most restrictive, but would like to ensure the luggage is OK to carry on on that airline)
- 2 wheels, spinners drive me nuts
- softcase as I want pockets
- maximum packing space
- heavy duty - want something that will last so willing to pay for quality/warranty
- not required but bonus: suit folder
after reviewing some threads on here - seems like Briggs & Riley is the best option? Either:

What would you recommend out of those two and why? or do you have other brand recommendations? would love to hear your suggestions
Thanks!
