How long a rental? A day? A week? Will you be overnighting in other cities, or returning to NYC every night? And if this will be a lengthy rental, do you plan to return the car to the NYC area, or are you looking at a one-way rental?

Are you a U.S. resident with your own personal auto insurance policy, or do you reside in another country?
