I keep expecting this to be devalued but is still crediting at the rate of 1 point per pound spent. It can only be used at Tesco and their filling stations but it thrashes the Amex PP as it earns me 3.2 Avios per pound as am also still enjoying the game of grand father rate.

I'm not gloating. I'm just looking for reassurance that I'm right and it hasn't been devalued!
I am (since 1999!) and yes, it's double the normal - 2 points per £1 at Tesco and 1 point per £1 at filling stations. It all adds up when you've got two bathrooms to refurbish and Topps Tiles are 3x face value (so that's a 6% return on my shopping, which can't be sniffed at).

...however, at the minute, it appears Clubcard Plus accounts are suffering from the recent security breaches. Three times now I've had a call on the morning of a home delivery because my card has been declined (though it works fine in person in the shops, where I do enjoy a retro experience signing to authorize purchases).

I called Tesco Bank and they said this was a known issue though they couldn't give me any detail nor an ETA, and they did credit me pro-actively with some bonus CC points to make up for what I'd missed out on.
