I think the 'standard' is OWS + J - no greeting (same for GO + J); OWS + PY/Y - greeting by FP (same for GO)
Maybe it also has to do with equipment...some crew told me they barely hav time to do it if it was 77G.
My HKG-SFO flight was on a 77H and they had 12 hours to greet us
, but it was true that they sometimes did not have time to greet everyone. I was on a TPE flight one time when the ISM greeted almost everyone on board.
