I'm having a really tough deciding between an award stay at Hyatt Ziva Cancun or Hyatt Zilara Cancun.
We've stayed at Ziva Los Cabos before, so that's our only comparison.
This is an adults only trip, but we don't mind being around families.
So it really boils down to the pools, beach/ocean, room type (only standard available at both), restaurants, and misc. things that I'm not thinking of right now.
I was set on Zilara, but now I'm not so sure. Help?
We stayed at Zilara Cancun but we toured the Ziva.
Ziva is bigger and probably prettier. It's also closer to a lot of other stuff outside of the resort. They have a cool adults-only pool area which is fun. They have a car-themed restaurant and a candy shop which is fun.
Zilara has a hot tub in every room, so if it's a romantic trip Zilara is definitely a better idea. Food is great there, and entertainment is really fun. Has a lot of nice pools but Ziva's is probably nicer.
