Should you buy something through the shopping portal, make sure the date of purchase is before you miles expire and they should return once the transaction posts.
Does the shopping portal account require the same name matched to the aadavantage account? I am trying to prevent my son's AA account from expiration but I registered the shopping portal under my name (by nature and the system does not allow me to change once I realized the problem), with the correct AA number of my son though. Will this be a trouble for posting the miles over?
