I just had the handle break off of my 4 year old Crew 8 22". I went to pull the handle out, and it just came off in my hand. This is a bag I have only used for carry on, never checked. No more than 30 to 40 trips with it. I can see that they used plastic to hold the handle to the rods, and the plastic just broke. I went to the nearby repair store recommended by the TravelPro site, and they claimed that handle breakage is not covered by warranty.

So this Lifetime Warranty does not really mean much. And to use cheap plastic on a critical joint of the handle is not what I would have expected of TravelPro. It does not look like TravelPro monitors this site anymore either.
