This is one thing that I think AY does right. Having Y+ as a relatively cheap extra fee is much more sane than trying to sell a small and inflexible number of tickets that are in a completely different price range.
Although personally I'd rather have 2-4-2 than extra leg room, but obviously that would prevent them from using the same seats...
