The ISM noticed and quickly called her colleagues in the other cabins - "Quick, do the OW greeting now! Already I can see some are going to sleep already."
I took my first flight on KA/CA this morning after I lost my DM status. They don't greet GO on PEK... even though this GO (yours truly) was involuntarily downgraded from J to Y because they substituted an all-Y equipment.
Well, greeting is not important. At least they compensated me quite well in $$$ and blocked my two adjacent seats so I had three seats to myself.
