+1. And many are more restrictive on linear dimensions of the carry on as well.
Bear in mind that for most domestic F cabins, the overhead space is actually not that plentiful, as that bin space is sometimes used by cabin crew as well. The last couple of people to board F are usually on an overhead bin space hunt. As with most other carriers, narrowbody closet space has been reduced substantially in recent years.
The presumption that three items "should" be allowed on board for F pax is a bit rich, IMO (even for TATL).
On other point from the post that triggered this discussion. Mis-sold premium economy product? Really? You're comparing this to European narrowbody "J"? 30 inch seat pitch (RyanAir has noted that the "new and improved" BA CE offers less pitch than their fleet), 17" wide seats, usually no offer to hang coats, no PDB, no in-seat power, wifi, or entertainment.... please. And let's not forget BA's yellow tags.
Absolute con? Compared to what? Asian regional J I can agree is generally better, but European regional J? That's the real con.
