Kia Ora, I asked this on the United forum, but I think you might know more about the specifics... I'm flying from AKL-HKG on NZ 4993, which is actually one of their codeshares with CX. I deliberately booked this with NZ, not CX directly, since I thought I could get the miles credited to my United account that way. However it seems I was wrong...
- Is this correct? No *A miles for non-*A codeshares even if it's a NZ (ie. *A) ticket?
- If so, is there any wiggle room i.e. might it depend on the particular CS rep or something? Because if not, I might as well just charge it directly to my CX FF account. But I'd obviously much rather have them as UA miles...
Anything specific about the NZ/CX codeshares regarding mileage accrual?
Thanks!
