The Aldi that just opened is swipe-only based on what it said on the display. NCR POS though. Weirdly it said "debit card" on the pole display after I swiped, despite using a credit card.
IIRC Aldi only recently began accepting credit cards, so they may have just been too lazy to update the message on the pole display.
