Reward to Tokyo. Direct via AC or via EVA

I have a J reward flight booked next April to Tokyo which I snagged last June. It's direct YYZ to HND on a 787 metal. Due to limited availability of seats, I had to cut my trip a bit short, arriving a couple days later than I originally wanted, but still worked out to be ok (going to the Japan Do which starts on the 13th of April, which doesn't give me much time to adjust to the time change, etc...)

Recently, seats became available on Eva. It's not direct, with a decent connection of 3:45 in TPE, but having flown them before, also in Royal Laurel, it is one of the best flights have ever taken.

The EVA has some differences over AC, as it's a longer flight (15hrs, vs 13 with AC, allowing me to enjoy more of the cabin), and most importantly the schedule makes it an entire night flight, since it leaves at 01:45, (rather than around 2pm on AC) so it will remain dark the whole flight, making it easier to sleep, hopefully. On Air Canada, since it leaves in the afternoon, I likely only start to fall asleep as they wake everyone for breakfast which would be around midnight Toronto time)

Anyhow, I can't decide whether to change my booking (I know there's a fee). I know the connecting flight arrives at NRT vs HND on AC5, but I actually liked the direct train to Shinjuku station last time.

There's also the 777 aircraft on BR vs 787 on AC, which apparently has nice seats but I'll get to try them on my return leg from Seoul.

Some questions.. Does anyone know if BR35 have wifi on that aircraft? Also, is the lounge in YYZ the Platinium or can I use the Maple Leaf lounge? I believe the Premium closes around 22:30, when I took a late flight once). Since this is a reward ticket, can I use my Aeroplan infinite Privilege card for access to the MLL or is that just for AC flights? I don't have status.

Thoughts? Sorry for the long post
