Very typical, especially comparing ex NBO to ex US pricing. Interesting too if you compare this across airlines. IME US airlines often have better pricing ex US and Middle Eastern airlines are better ex NBO.

If you are frequently traveling this route one option is to imbed RT's ex NBO into a single RT ex US.
