I am very familiar with the UA BusinessFirst seats (2-2-2 and 2-4-2). The pitch, as stated on Seatguru, is 76". That makes sense because I am 72" and it doesn't feel cramped.

I am not familiar with the CA Business class seats. The pitch, as stated on Seatguru, is 60". This is full 16" shorter than UA.

I am looking at EWR-PEK flights. UA89 Boeing 772 vs CA820 Boeing 773. Is there anyone who has flown both airlines and can directly compare these two business class seats? Preference to someone 6" or so I prefer CA because I can transit directly to BKK without changing airlines. It's also cheap ($3200USD). However, comfort is huge on a ULH flight and the stated 16" shorter pitch is a major deal-killer.

As a 6-foot person will I be comfortable in a CA Business Seat if i am used to UA BusinessFirst?
